Love coming to Pinstack. We have so much fun bowling and in the arcade. The staff is awesome and very friendly. The burger I ordered was really good and so were the nachos. Definitely would recommend trying this place out.
I went on a date here the other night. We just wanted to get a few appetizers before starting our arcade night. While sitting in the restaurant portion, our server went on break and the server who was supposed to take care of us never came to the table. We were wondering why no one was checking on us, and when our server came back, she explained that she was on break and we were supposed to be someone else's table. She promptly became our table again and took good care of us. The manager was very apologetic about the situation and gave us a discount on our bill and also gave us a game card. It wasn't a great situation, but I felt that management made it right. And we had a great time playing arcade games afterward. The food itself is ok, just bar food. But I'll definitely come back for the good service. And arcade games!
Our family drove to Austin, and since my son wanted to bowl, we decided to stop by Pinstack. It reminded us a lot of Main Event. The facility was really nice, and we enjoyed the bowling, but it was just a one-time visit for us. We didn't get to try the food, but for a quick family outing, it was a good experience.
Upon walking into this place, I was surprised by the sheer size of it. This place has everything a kid could ever want, games, bowling, food, laser tag, obstacle course, prizes, small bumper car room, climbing wall, and there are even rooms available for private parties. In the bowling area, you'll find one room (VIP suite) which offers eight private lanes with a large private dining room and a bar for private/corporate events. There's flatscreens every direction you turn. For the parents, there's a large dining room/bar and another bar in the bowling area. They have a very good selection of craft beer, wines, even alcoholic shakes. There is an outdoor seating area with a bar along with an outdoor play area for the kids. The food is reasonably priced and they even offer a $50 pizza (36" Kingpin) for your crowd that is absolutely gigantic. The burgers and sandwiches are pretty good, just not amazing. However, I definitely recommend the house frozen margarita during happy hour. For $5, it doesn't disappoint. As the photos included attest, this place has a lot going for it, and certainly worthy of a visit. Lots of music, distractions, action, and noise to occupy your senses. 41/2*
Kids loved it. Arcade is in great shape. Only negative is some of the claw machines seem like they will never pick up an item.
